The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Saucon Valley Panthers (Hellertown, PA) and the visiting Catasauqua Rough Riders (Catasauqua, PA), witnessed Saucon Valley's football squad wallop Catasauqua by a tally of 62-14.

The Panthers (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Salisbury Township (Allentown, PA). The Falcons enter the Colonial-Schuylkill - B contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Salisbury Township was trounced by Pen Argyl (Pen Argyl, PA), 21-3, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Rough Riders battle the Jim Thorpe Olympians (Jim Thorpe, PA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 4. Catasauqua will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Olympians enter the contest with a 1-5 record after their 56-12 league loss to Southern Lehigh (Center Valley, PA).
