The Cedar Vale/Dexter Spartans walloped the visiting Sedan Devils football team by a score of 52-6 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans face the West Elk Patriots (Howard, KS) in a South Central Border (8 Man) challenge, on Friday, October 4. Cedar Vale/Dexter will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Patriots go into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 54-44 non-league win over Oswego (Oswego, KS).

The Devils (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Northeast (Arma, KS). The Vikings go into the non-league challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Northeast was ripped by Central (Burden, KS), 36-24, in a non-league challenge.
