Texas High School Football - Sherman winner over Centennial

The Sherman Bearcats (Sherman, TX) football knocked off the visiting Centennial Titans (Frisco, TX), 40-13 in Friday's league outing.

The Bearcats now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Heritage for a 5A-1 Region II District 5 outing on Thursday, October 3. Sherman will clash with a Coyotes squad coming off a 48-7 league loss to Lone Star (Frisco, TX). The Coyotes record now stands at 2-2.

With the defeat, Centennial drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Titans host Wakeland (Frisco, TX) to clash with the Wolverines in a 5A-1 Region II District 5 outing on Friday, October 4. The Wolverines come into the outing with a record of 2-3. Wakeland lost 35-24 in their recent league outing against McKinney North (McKinney, TX)
