New York High School Football - West Genesee can't hold off Cicero-North Syracuse
September 27, 2024: Cicero, NY 13039 The Cicero-North Syracuse Northstars got by the visiting West Genesee Wildcats football team by a score of 20-13 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Northstars play the Corning-Painted Post Hawks (Corning, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 4. Cicero-North Syracuse will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Hawks go into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 73-6 league win over Binghamton (Binghamton, NY).
The Wildcats (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Proctor (Utica, NY). The Raiders go into the Section 3 AA 1 challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Proctor was edged by Christian Brothers Academy (Syracuse, NY), 68-12, in a league challenge.
