September 27, 2024: Memphis, TN 38115 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Kirby Cougars (Memphis, TN) and the visiting Craigmont Chiefs (Memphis, TN), witnessed Kirby's football squad wallop Craigmont by a tally of 35-0.
The Cougars (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Fayette Ware (Somerville, TN). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Fayette Ware was trounced by Christian Brothers (Memphis, TN), 41-0, in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Chiefs battle the Ridgeway Roadrunners (Memphis, TN) in a 4A Region 8 contest, on Friday, October 4. Craigmont will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Roadrunners enter the contest with a 0-6 record after their 35-0 league loss to Millington Central (Millington, TN).
