Maryland High School Football - Leonardtown falls to Great Mills

September 27, 2024: Great Mills, MD 20634

The Great Mills Hornets felled the visiting Leonardtown Raiders football team by a score of 26-13 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Hornets face the Northern Patriots (Owings, MD) in a Southern Maryland challenge, on Friday, October 4. Great Mills will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Patriots go into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 54-24 league win over Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD).

The Raiders (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD). The Hurricanes go into the Southern Maryland challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Huntingtown lost by Patuxent (Lusby, MD), 26-20, in a league challenge.
