September 27, 2024: Philip, SD 57567 The Philip Scotties walloped the visiting Jones County Coyotes football team by a score of 34-0 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Scotties face the Hill City Rangers (Hill City, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 4. Philip will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Rangers go into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 63-44 non-league win over Bennett County (Martin, SD).
The Coyotes (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Wall (Wall, SD). The Eagles go into the Western Great Plains (9 Man) challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Wall bounced Stanley County (Fort Pierre, SD), 41-6, in a non-league challenge.
