West Virginia High School Football - Linsly falls to New Philadelphia

The New Philadelphia Quakers felled the host Linsly Cadets football team by a score of 59-28 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Quakers play the Madison Comprehensive Rams (Mansfield, OH) in a Ohio Cardinal challenge, on Friday, October 4. New Philadelphia will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Rams go into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 33-27 league loss to Ashland (Ashland, OH).

The Cadets (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Steubenville (Steubenville, OH). The Big Red go into the non-league challenge with a 6-0 record. In their last challenge, Steubenville toppled Wheeling Park (Wheeling, WV), 48-17, in a non-league challenge.
