September 27, 2024: Highlands Ranch, CO 80126 Mountain Vista Golden Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Lutheran Lions (Parker, CO), 56-8 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Mountain Vista improves its record to 5-0 on the season. The Golden Eagles travel to Valor Christian (Highlands Ranch, CO) to play the Eagles in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 3. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 4-0. Valor Christian won 21-18 in their recent non-league battle against Ralston Valley (Arvada, CO)
The Lions now possess a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sheridan for a non-league contest on Saturday, September 28. Lutheran will confront a Rams squad coming off a 37-28 non-league loss to The Pinnacle (Federal Heights, CO). The Rams record now stands at 0-3.
