Indiana High School Soccer - Central Christian Academy toppled by Southwestern
September 27, 2024: Shelbyville, IN 46176 Southwestern Spartans (Shelbyville, IN) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Central Christian Academy Chargers (Indianapolis, IN), 8-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Southwestern moves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Hauser (Hope, IN) to meet the Jets in a Mid-Hoosier test on Tuesday, October 1. The Jets come into the test with a record of 4-6. Hauser lost 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Knightstown (Knightstown, IN)
The Chargers now sport a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Indianapolis Lutheran for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 8. Central Christian Academy will meet a Saints team coming off a 5-0 league win over Triton Central (Fairland, IN). The Saints record now stands at 8-5.
