Texas High School Volleyball - Dripping Springs over Akins

In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Dripping Springs Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Akins Eagles.

The Tigers (36-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Del Valle (Del Valle, TX). The Cardinals come into the 6A Region IV District 26 challenge with a 16-12 record. In their last challenge, Del Valle lost by Austin (Austin, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles play the Bowie Bulldogs (Austin, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 26 challenge, on Tuesday, October 1. Akins will attempt to upgrade on its 8-17 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 16-10 record after their 3-1 league loss to Lake Travis (Austin, TX).
