New Mexico High School Volleyball - Coronado bounced by Maxwell
September 27, 2024: Gallina, NM 87017 Maxwell Bears (Maxwell, NM) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Coronado Leopards (Gallina, NM), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Maxwell improves its record to 7-3 on the season. The Bears travel to Clovis Christian (Clovis, NM) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, October 5. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 7-3. Clovis Christian won 3-1 in their recent league test against San Jon (San Jon, NM)
The Leopards now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Questa for a non-league test on Monday, September 30. Coronado will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Cimarron (Cimarron, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-1.
