The Hammond Morton Governors walloped the host Calumet Christian Patriots football team by a score of 57-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Governors now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Hammond Central for a Great Lakes test on Friday, October 3. Hammond Morton will meet a Wolves squad coming off a 52-0 non-league loss to Andrew (Tinley Park, IL). The Wolves record now stands at 0-6.

With the defeat, Calumet Christian drops to 1-4 on the season. The Patriots travel to Illinois Crusaders (Big Rock, IL) to face the Crusaders in a Great Lakes Christian challenge on Saturday, October 4. The Crusaders go into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Illinois Crusaders lost 47-12 in their recent league challenge against Osceola Grace Eagles (Osceola, IN)
