In Saturday's non-league game, the Riverdale Baptist Crusaders (Upper Marlboro, MD) football team were victorious over the host Long Island Lutheran Crusaders (Brookville, NY), by a score of 34-24.

In their next game, the Crusaders face the DeMatha Stags (Hyattsville, MD) in a non-league game, on Friday, October 3. Riverdale Baptist will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Stags enter the game with a 4-0 record after their 41-0 non-league win over Mt. Zion Prep Academy (Lanham, MD).

The Crusaders (1-3) will now prepare for their outing against Delaware Valley (Milford, PA). The Warriors enter the non-league game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Delaware Valley notched a victory over Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA), 28-14, in a league game.
