September 27, 2025: Mayfield, OH 44143 The South Rebels were winner over the host Mayfield Wildcats football team by a score of 24-16 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Rebels face the Kenston Bombers (Chagrin Falls, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 4. South will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record. The Bombers enter the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 48-6 non-league win over North (Eastlake, OH).
The Wildcats (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Riverside (Painesville, OH). The Beavers enter the non-league challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Riverside topped Chardon (Chardon, OH), 19-12, in a non-league outing.
