The California Grizzlies (San Ramon, CA) volleyball knocked off the visiting Acalanes Dons (Lafayette, CA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Grizzlies now possess a 17-5 record. They play next when they travel to Carondelet for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 27. California will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Dublin (Dublin, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, Acalanes drops to 5-2 on the campaign. The Dons travel to Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA) to battle the Knights in a contest on Tuesday, October 7. The Knights enter the contest with a record of 3-8.
