In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Alexandria-Monroe Tigers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Huntington North Vikings.

The Tigers (10-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Pendleton Heights (Pendleton, IN). The Arabians come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Vikings play the Norwell Knights (Ossian, IN) in a challenge, on Thursday, October 9. Huntington North will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
