September 27, 2025: Shiprock, NM 87420 Shiprock Chieftains (Shiprock, NM) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Shiprock improves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Chieftains host Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM) to face the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 7. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 1-5.
Next, the Spartans play the Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 30. Bernalillo will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Manzano (Albuquerque, NM).
