Michigan High School Soccer - Sault Area toppled by Cheboygan
September 27, 2025: Cheboygan, MI 49721 Cheboygan Chiefs (Cheboygan, MI) fans were in high spirits Saturday as they observed their soccer squad prevail over the visiting Sault Area Blue Devils (Sault St. Marie, MI), 6-2 in a non-league bout.
The Chiefs now possess a 3-12 record. They play next when they host Boyne City for a non-league bout on Monday, September 29. Cheboygan will play a Ramblers squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Charlevoix (Charlevoix, MI). The Ramblers record now stands at 5-10.
With the loss, Sault Area moves to 0-18 on the year. The Blue devils travel to Traverse City Central (Traverse City, MI) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 30. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 10-3. Traverse City Central won 7-1 in their recent non-league bout against Cadillac (Cadillac, MI)
