Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Forest City toppled by Western Wayne
September 27, 2025: Forest City, PA 18421 Western Wayne Wildcats (Lake Ariel, PA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Forest City Foresters (Forest City, PA), 10-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Western Wayne moves its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Lakeland (Jermyn, PA) to clash with the Chiefs in a Lackawanna - Division II test on Monday, September 29. The Chiefs go into the outing with a record of 2-10.
Next up, the Foresters confront the Elk Lake Warriors (Dimock, PA) in a Lackawanna - Division III outing, on Monday, September 29. Forest City will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Warriors go into the outing with a 4-7 record after their 2-1 league loss to Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA).
