Illinois High School Soccer - Hinsdale South toppled by Leyden
September 27, 2025: Franklin Park, IL 60131 Leyden Eagles (Franklin Park, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Hinsdale South Hornets (Darien, IL), 7-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Leyden advances its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Berwyn/Cicero Morton (Cicero, IL) to clash with the Mustangs in a West Suburban - Gold test on Tuesday, September 30. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 13-2. Berwyn/Cicero Morton won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL)
The Hornets now have a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they host Downers Grove South for a West Suburban - Gold test on Tuesday, September 30. Hinsdale South will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-8.
