Illinois High School Soccer - Normal Community nudges Lake Forest Academy
September 27, 2025: Lake Forest, IL 60045 In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Normal Community Ironmen soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Lake Forest Academy Caxys.
The Ironmen (10-3) will now prepare for their outing against Richwoods (Peoria, IL). The Knights enter the Big Twelve outing with a 10-5 record. In their last outing, Richwoods tipped Manual (Peoria, IL), 5-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Caxys confront the Glenbrook South Titans (Glenview, IL) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 27. Lake Forest Academy will attempt to move on its 7-6 season record. The Titans come into the test with a 6-6 record after their 1-0 league loss to Maine South (Park Ridge, IL).
