Illinois High School Soccer - Oak Park-River Forest knocks off Middleton
September 27, 2025: Oak Park, IL 60302 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Oak Park-River Forest Huskies (Oak Park, IL) and the visiting Middleton Cardinals (Middleton, WI), saw Oak Park-River Forest's soccer squad prevail over Middleton by a score of 4-0.
The Huskies (10-2) will now prepare for their battle against Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL). The Red Devils enter the West Suburban - Silver battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Hinsdale Central tipped Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
In their next game, the Cardinals meet the Madison West Regents (Madison, WI) in a Big Eight test, on Tuesday, September 30. Middleton will attempt to move on its 12-1 season record. The Regents come into the test with a 8-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Madison La Follette (Madison, WI).
