Minnesota High School Soccer - Monticello nudged by Rogers
September 27, 2025: Rogers, MN 55374 Rogers Royals (Rogers, MN) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they observed their soccer squad nudge the visiting Monticello Magic (Monticello, MN), 3-2 in a non-league outing.
The Royals (8-3) will now prepare for their outing against Centennial (Circle Pines, MN). The Cougars go into the non-league outing with a 7-2 record. In their last outing, Centennial was edged by Blaine (Blaine, MN), 2-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Magic confront the St. Francis Fighting Saints (St. Francis, MN) in a non-league outing, on Sunday, September 28. Monticello will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Fighting Saints go into the outing with a 6-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Spectrum (Elk River, MN).
