In Saturday's non-league test, the Castle View Sabercats (Castle Rock, CO) softball team routed the host Palisade Bulldogs (Palisade, CO), by a margin of 6-0.

The Sabercats now sport a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grand Junction for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 27. Castle View will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Rampart (Colorado Springs, CO). The Tigers record now stands at 11-4.

With the loss, Palisade drops to 10-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Niwot (Niwot, CO) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 6-8. Niwot lost 12-3 in their recent league test against Mead (Longmont, CO)
