Missouri High School Softball - Grain Valley edges Howell Central
September 27, 2025: St. Charles, MO 63304 The Grain Valley Eagles softball team scored 2 runs and held the host Howell Central Spartans to 0 in the Eagles non-league win on Saturday.
The Eagles now possess a 18-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kearney for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 27. Grain Valley will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 19-0 non-league win over Raytown South (Raytown, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-1.
With the loss, Howell Central moves to 12-3 on the season. The Spartans travel to Fort Zumwalt West (O'Fallon, MO) to confront the Jaguars in a Class 4 District 7 battle on Tuesday, September 30. The Jaguars come into the battle with a record of 5-1.
