September 27, 2025: Lexington, GA 30648 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the White County Warriors (Cleveland, GA) and the host Oglethorpe County Patriots (Lexington, GA), observed White County's softball team notch a victory over Oglethorpe County by a tally of 9-0.
With the triumph, White County improves its record to 11-10 on the year. The Warriors travel to Prince Avenue Christian (Athens, GA) to face the Wolverines in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 27. The Wolverines enter the contest with a record of 20-3. Prince Avenue Christian won 8-5 in their recent league match against Stephens County (Toccoa, GA)
In their next game, the Patriots battle the Commerce Tigers (Commerce, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 8 match, on Monday, September 29. Oglethorpe County will attempt to improve on its 11-7 season record.
