Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD) and the host Castlewood Warriors (Castlewood, SD), observed Northwestern Area's volleyball team top Castlewood by a count of 2-0.

The Wildcats (16-1) will now prepare for their contest against Freeman (Freeman, SD). The Flyers enter the non-league contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Freeman notched a victory over Menno (Menno, SD), 3-2, in a league contest.

Next, the Warriors battle the Hamlin Chargers (Hayti, SD) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 30. Castlewood will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record. The Chargers go into the battle with a 10-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Webster (Webster, SD).
