September 27, 2025: Dayton, ID 83232 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the West Side Pirates (Dayton, ID) and the visiting Challis Vikings (Challis, ID), observed West Side's volleyball team top Challis by a count of 3-0.
The Pirates (12-7) will now prepare for their contest against Soda Springs (Soda Springs, ID). The Cardinals enter the 3A South East Idaho contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Soda Springs notched a victory over Declo (Declo, ID), 3-2, in a league contest.
Next, the Vikings battle the Leadore Mustangs (Leadore, ID) in a 1A Rocky Mountain battle, on Saturday, October 11. Challis will attempt to improve on its 12-6 season record.
