Washington High School Volleyball - Cheney tips East Valley
September 27, 2025: Yakima, WA 98901 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Cheney Blackhawks (Cheney, WA) and the host East Valley Red Devils (Yakima, WA), observed Cheney's volleyball team hold off East Valley by a count of 2-1.
The Blackhawks (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Chiawana (Pasco, WA). The Riverhawks enter the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Chiawana was tipped by Kamiakin (Kennewick, WA), 3-1, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Red Devils encounter the Ephrata Tigers (Ephrata, WA) in a 2A CWAC battle, on Tuesday, September 30. East Valley will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Tigers go into the battle with a 0-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Prosser (Prosser, WA).
