September 27, 2025: Washington, IL 61571 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Cissna Park Timberwolves (Cissna Park, IL) and the host Washington Panthers (Washington, IL), observed Cissna Park's volleyball squad notch a victory over Washington by a score of 2-0.
With the win, Cissna Park improves its record to 18-1 on the season. The Timberwolves travel to St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL) to encounter the Spartans in a non-league battle on Wednesday, October 1. The Spartans go into the battle with a record of 7-12. St. Joseph-Ogden lost 2-1 in their recent league battle against Monticello (Monticello, IL)
The Panthers now own a 15-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Morton for a Mid-Illini contest on Tuesday, September 30. Washington will meet a Potters team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Taylorville (Taylorville, IL). The Potters record now stands at 14-2.
