September 27, 2025: Le Grand, IA 50142 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Lisbon Lions (Lisbon, IA) and the host East Marshall Mustangs (Le Grand, IA), observed Lisbon's volleyball team top East Marshall by a count of 2-0.
The Lions (20-3) will now prepare for their contest against Marquette (Bellevue, IA). The Defenders enter the non-league contest with a 2-11 record. In their last contest, Marquette was knocked off by Maquoketa (Maquoketa, IA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Mustangs meet the Hudson Pirates (Hudson, IA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 30. East Marshall will attempt to move on its 9-14 season record. The Pirates go into the battle with a 19-7 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA).
