The Eastside Eagles edged the visiting Laurens Raiders volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Eagles now possess a 9-15 record. They play next when they host Travelers Rest for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 27. Eastside will play a Devildogs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Seneca (Seneca, SC). The Devildogs record now stands at 2-10.

With the loss, Laurens drops to 4-12 on the campaign. The Raiders host Fountain Inn (Fountain Inn, SC) to confront the Fury in a AAAA Region 1 game on Tuesday, September 30.
