Illinois High School Volleyball - Hansberry can't hold off Rauner
September 27, 2025: Chicago, IL 60620 The Rauner Wildcats held off the host Hansberry Bengals volleyball team by a margin of 2-1 in Saturday's league outing.
The Wildcats now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they host The Noble Academy for a Noble Street outing on Monday, October 6. Rauner will clash with a Griffins team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Butler (Chicago, IL). The Griffins record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, Hansberry drops to 5-5 on the campaign. The Bengals travel to DRW College Prep (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Cheetahs in a Noble Street bout on Wednesday, October 1. The Cheetahs come into the bout with a record of 3-5. DRW College Prep lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Proviso East (Maywood, IL)
