In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Holgate Tigers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the North Baltimore Tigers.

The Tigers (5-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Hilltop (West Unity, OH). The Cadets enter the Buckeye Border challenge with a 13-5 record. In their last test, Hilltop achieved victory over Evergreen (Metamora, OH), 3-1, in a non-league test.

The Tigers now own a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cardinal Stritch for a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. North Baltimore will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Ottawa Hills (Toledo, OH). The Cardinals record now stands at 9-5.
