Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Homestead Spartans (Fort Wayne, IN) and the host West Lafayette Red Devils (West Lafayette, IN), observed Homestead's volleyball team top West Lafayette by a count of 2-0.

The Spartans (16-7) will now prepare for their battle against Benet Academy (Lisle, IL). The Redwings go into the non-league battle with a 18-1 record. In their last battle, Benet Academy achieved victory over Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
