The Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears tipped the host West Valley Wolf Pack volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Crimson Bears confront the Ketchikan Kings (Ketchikan, AK) in a 4A Southeast game, on Friday, October 17. Juneau-Douglas will attempt to advance on its 15-9 season record. The Kings enter the game with a 0-10 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Juneau-Douglas (Juneau, AK).

With the loss, West Valley drops to 11-16 on the campaign. The Wolf pack travel to Lathrop (Fairbanks, AK) to clash with the Malemutes in a 4A Mid Alaska bout on Wednesday, October 1.
