September 27, 2025: Kayenta, AZ 86033 In Saturday's non-league match, the Saguaro Sabercats (Scottsdale, AZ) volleyball squad overcame the host Monument Valley Mustangs (Kayenta, AZ), by a count of 2-0.
With the win, Saguaro improves its record to 7-8 on the season. The Sabercats travel to Mesquite (Gilbert, AZ) to encounter the Wildcats in a 4A - Desert Sky battle on Monday, September 29. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 17-3. Mesquite won 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Arvada West (Arvada, CO)
The Mustangs now own a 17-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ganado for a 3A - North contest on Monday, September 29. Monument Valley will battle a Hornets team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Page (Page, AZ). The Hornets record now stands at 11-10.
