In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Yuma Outlaws volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Otis Bulldogs.

The Outlaws (5-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Merino (Merino, CO). The Rams come into the 2A/1A Lower Platte challenge with a 10-0 record. In their last challenge, Merino edged Limon (Limon, CO), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Bulldogs now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fleming for a non-league test on Thursday, October 2. Otis will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Prairie (New Raymer, CO). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-1.
