The Republic County Buffaloes topped the host Pike Valley Panthers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.

Coming up next, the Buffaloes play the Lyons Lions (Lyons, KS) in a North Central AA outing, on Tuesday, September 30. Republic County will attempt to better on its 7-15 season record. The Lions come into the outing with a 2-16 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Ellsworth (Ellsworth, KS).

With the loss, Pike Valley drops to 0-15 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Rock Hills (Mankato, KS) to play the Grizzlies in a Northern Plains outing on Tuesday, September 30. The Grizzlies enter the game with a record of 20-0. Rock Hills won 2-1 in their recent league game against St. John's/Tipton Catholic (Beloit, KS)
