The Schurr Spartans edged the visiting Poly Parrots volleyball squad by a margin of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Spartans now possess a 9-17 record. They play next when they travel to San Gabriel for a Almont outing on Tuesday, September 30. Schurr will play a Matadors team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Taft (Woodland Hills, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 18-6.
