In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host St. Mary's Prep Eaglets volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Walled Lake Western Warriors.

The Eaglets (18-6) will now prepare for their test against Bedford (Temperance, MI). The Kicking Mules go into the non-league test with a 13-6 record. In their last test, Bedford was defeated by Dexter (Dexter, MI), 3-0, in a league test.

The Warriors now own a 2-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Walled Lake Central for a Lakes Valley test on Tuesday, September 30. Walled Lake Western will face a Vikings squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to South Lyon (South Lyon, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 0-10.
