Georgia High School Softball - Crisp County bounces Central
September 28, 2021: Macon, GA 31204 Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Crisp County Cougars (Cordele, GA) and the host Central Chargers (Macon, GA), witnessed Crisp County's softball squad prevail over Central by a count of 17-4.
The Cougars now sport a 13-2 record. They play next when they host Pike County for a AAA Region 2 match on Thursday, September 30. Crisp County will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Jackson (Jackson, GA). The Pirates record now stands at 15-4.
With the loss, Central moves to 3-10 on the season. The Chargers host Northeast (Macon, GA) to meet the Raiders in a non-league match on Wednesday, September 29. The Raiders go into the match with a record of 0-4.
