September 28, 2022: Charleston, SC 29492 The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Bishop England Battling Bishops (Charleston, SC) and the visiting Academic Magnet Raptors (North Charleston, SC), saw Bishop England's volleyball squad beat Academic Magnet by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Bishop England upgrades its record to 7-0 on the year. The Battling Bishops host Stratford (Goose Creek, SC) to play the Knights in a bout on Monday, October 3. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Stratford won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Hanahan (Hanahan, SC)
The Raptors now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Wando for a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 5. Academic Magnet will play a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC). The Warriors record now stands at 3-11.
