The Corona del Sol Aztecs football team (Tempe, AZ), was ripped 47-8 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the host Shadow Ridge Stallions (Surprise, AZ)

The Stallions (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Westview (Avondale, AZ). The Knights come into the challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Westview trounced La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ), 48-6, in a non-league challenge.

The Aztecs now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Mountain Pointe for a challenge on Wednesday, October 12. Corona del Sol will meet a Pride team coming off a 34-0 league loss to Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ). The Pride record now stands at 1-3.
