The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Ravenscroft Ravens (Raleigh, NC) and the visiting New Garden Friends Bears (Greensboro, NC), saw Ravenscroft's volleyball squad beat New Garden Friends by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Ravenscroft upgrades its record to 3-10 on the year. The Ravens host Durham Academy (Durham, NC) to play the Cavaliers in a NCISAA Triangle Independent bout on Friday, October 7. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 13-4.

The Bears now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Asheboro Hybrid Academy for a Greater Piedmont bout on Friday, September 30.
