Illinois High School Football - Glenbard South trounced by South Elgin
September 28, 2023: South Elgin, IL 60177 South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL) followers were thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their football squad triumph over the visiting Glenbard South Raiders (Glen Ellyn, IL), 56-14 in a non-league battle.
The Storm now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lemont for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 7. South Elgin will face a Lemont HS squad coming off a 34-26 non-league win over Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL). The Lemont HS record now stands at 1-2.
Coming up next, the Raiders face the Glenbard East Rams (Lombard, IL) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 12. Glenbard South will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Rams enter the battle with a 0-2 record after their 42-6 non-league loss to Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL).
