Manheim Central Barons (Manheim, PA) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Elizabethtown Bears (Elizabethtown, PA), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Barons confront the Octorara Area Braves (Atglen, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 30. Manheim Central will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Braves enter the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 1-0 league loss to Eastern Lebanon County (Myerstown, PA).

The Bears now possess a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Solanco for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 2. Elizabethtown will confront a Golden Mules team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Cedar Crest (Lebanon, PA). The Golden Mules record now stands at 11-3.
