In Thursday's non-league game, the Douglas Tigers (Minden, NV) football team were victorious over the visiting Hug Hawks (Reno, NV), by a score of 29-20.

The Tigers (3-4) will now prepare for their game against North Valleys (Reno, NV). The Panthers come into the non-league game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, North Valleys knocked off Galena (Reno, NV), 19-7, in a league game.

The Hawks now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wooster for a non-league game on Friday, October 6. Hug will meet a Colts team coming off a 42-12 league loss to Carson (Carson City, NV). The Colts record now stands at 2-4.
