In Thursday's non-league match, the host Northwest Cabarrus Trojans football squad scored a good 14-0 victory over the West Rowan Falcons.

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 5. Northwest Cabarrus will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 1-5 record after their 30-28 non-league loss to Concord (Concord, NC).

The Falcons (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Robinson (Concord, NC). The Bulldogs enter the non-league match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Robinson ran past East Rowan (Salisbury, NC), 62-20, in a non-league match.
